Dash for Dogs and Judy's Reunion Pet Festival

Please join us on October 29, 2011 for the 2^nd Annual Dash for Dogs benefiting Pet Rescue by Judy.  Support Judy’s animals by lacing up those running shoes for a chip-timed 5K run on a certified course in scenic downtown Sanford.  Is competitive running not your style?  Well, there will also be a 1 mile Doggie Dash for families to include their furry friends.  Both runs will be followed by Judy’s Reunion Pet Festival from 9am to 2pm in Sanford’s Fort Mellon Park.  The festival will include:

• Halloween Costume Contests (pets and their people). 
  Show us how creative you can be and win a great prize!           
• Raffle and Silent Auction
• Entertainment
• Vendors Fair
• Hot Dog!  There’s even BBQ and Beer

• 7:30 am – Start of the 5K Run
• 8:30 am – Start of the 1 mile Doggie Dash
• 9:00 am thru 2:00 pm – Award ceremonies, costume contest and Judy’s Reunion Pet Festival

Parking/Directions

You must park in the designated areas below due to street closures for the race.

From Orlando take I-4 EAST to Sanford (St. Rd 46) Exit.  Travel East on 46 which becomes 1st street as you enter into Downtown Sanford.  At the 17/92 (French Ave) intersection take a Right and then take a Left onto 3rd Street.  Take 3rd Street to Palmetto.  Take a Left onto Palmetto back to 1st Street.  You may park on 1st Street at Ft. Mellon Park or the Chamber of Commerce or the Courthouse parking lot on Sanford and Hood off Seminole Blvd.  Parking is also available at Sanford City Hall and the Courthouse off Park Ave.
